This week I’m excited to bring you an unexpected treat! I never thought I’d really have the opportunity to help spread giveaway spree goodness, but it’s a lucky week for all of us (and even more lucky for one person). All of this is in celebration of a new thriller titled See No More by W.B. Dineen coming out today! Congrats and thank you to the lovely Giselle of Xpresso Book Tours and W.B. Dineen for the opportunity to spread this joy around 🙂
Thirty-three-year-old music therapist, Kate Randolph, is at the top of her professional game. Her life is happily on track, until she receives a phone call announcing the death of the man who abounded her when she was eight-years-old. Kate has no interest in going to her father’s funeral, but soon realizes she must confront the past to move forward.
While in Oregon, Kate discovers why her scientist/father disappeared, and what she learns will set her on a path that will change her life forever. With her father’s good friend, Jake, she uncovers conspiracies beyond imagination. She learns of secret societies, cover-ups, and that and the planet is in jeopardy from both terrestrial and extraterrestrial threats.
With the aid of a mysterious stranger, Kate must help save the world. Can she stay alive long enough to succeed?
Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to get my hands on this aside from getting a few sneak peaks, but from those and the description I’m certainly interested in this book! Conspiracy, mystery, and..aliens? I’m so intrigued how the extraterrestrial element plays into the story. I’ll admit I used to be fascinated by aliens, but before I make some new conspiracist friends out of the blue I was mostly interested in the psychology of it. In other words, the human preoccupation with the idea of the life’s existence elsewhere in our universe. There are a range of hobbyists to fanatics that get so passionate about the topic it’s captivating! (Documentaries on Netflix and History channel 👍🏻)
Getting back to the book, there’s certainly a curiosity component driving my interest. Time will have to tell how believable the extraterrestrial portion of the story ends up being. I haven’t read many books with this type of theme, but I sense this is an area that takes a lot of skill and research to build up. Looking forward to seeing Whitney deliver an excellent read!

“Dineen writes in a sharp, lively prose that is equally comfortable rendering emotional domestic moments, flashy action sequences, and humorous observations. The premise is wonderfully mysterious and immediately gripping. An expansive thriller that satisfies every absent-father fantasy.”—Kirkus Reviews
