Hello, all! Hope those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving this year had a wonderful break with family and friends. My family and I had a great time at the beach (pictured above)!
Recently I’ve been reading an assortment of things. After I finished the Mistborn series (books 1-6) I went back and read the Secret History. Really good and quite short, highly recommend. Then I had the opportunity to read through three of the Book Blogger Novel of the Year Award candidates – some excellent stand-outs in the group! I also snuck in a new release, These Silent Woods, which was quite good. And finally read the first three in Joe Abercrombie’s First Law series. Glokta is my far my favorite character in the set š
In all it’s been quite a diverse group of recent reads! Heading onwards into some more fantasy for a bit. Catch up again soon!
